Order
I made a order without checking the seller. I checked after I ordered and the seller only had that item for sale. No other items. The account the seller is using was just created this month (January 2026). Is it a scam? I placed a cancelation for the order but I am waiting for the seller to accept. The cancelation was made a few hours after the payment was made.

Mentor8 months agoNo, not necessarily. Many people do come to ebay to try and sell one item. You do have ebay's Money Back Guarantee if the seller never ships, or if the seller sends you an item that does not match the item description.
Buyers can only REQUEST to cancel. The seller does not have to comply.
