Order 08-10211-44809 item did not arrive, sold as presale, seller not responding, ebay unreachable
Seller: delx6246
Item was bought on June 23, 2023 as a presale.
Shipping was marked immediately with a non existent tracking number.
Seller responded many times, offering refund, but asked me to wait.
Until I decided to accept refund, in November. Seller became unresponsive.
Look for help on ebay, but help only apply for 90 day old items.
Can anyone ilustrate me what my fate looks like?
Was I scammed by seller on time tricks?
Will ebay help?
I appreciate any response.
Regards

OP2 years agoThanks for the info. One last question, Can I buy another item from same seller, and ask there for my missing item? Since he is not responding in the other item he did not ship.

·2 years agoYou could do that, but only if you want to purchase the next item this same seller is offering. You no longer have eBay protections on your original purchase, so the seller is under no pressure to produce that original item. Additionally, you can not shame the seller through feedback for the original item, as feedback should only apply to the current active transaction. I other words, buying something else from the same seller won't solve your current problem unless the seller has a conscience and simply lost track of you as a buyer due to your order aging off. Since the seller is currently not responding to your questions surrounding the original presale, I would guess the seller has already blown you off.

·2 years agoeBay only allows presales the can be shipped within 40 days. Additional time is allowed for transit. If the item does not arrive within the delivery window stated in your Purchase History, you have another 30 days to open a "not received" request for a refund. Scammers will often inflate handling time, or tell buyers to wait a little longer, so that the transaction will extend beyond 90 days (when it is purged from eBay's system). Scammers count on buyers not paying attention to deadlines.

If you purchased on June 23, then it had to be shipping by early July. If there was no shipping status in July and no tracking number, that would have been the time to begin investigating.
If the listing said something like "october delivery" then it would have been in violation of eBay policy and should have been reported to eBay instead of being purchased.

OP2 years agoThanks for your response.
From your anwer I assume, I have been scammed.
Iis there anything I can do?
If there is nothing I can do, How can I report this seller, so he does not continue to do this again?
Thanks!

You can report a seller here:

If you paid with a credit card, some allow chargebacks for up to 180 days, which might be ending right about now.
