"Or Best Offer"
Before I list an item, I carefully research online prices of similar books and then price my book at a significantly lower price. I uncheck the "Or Best Offer" option. However, I sometimes receive unsolicited (often very low) offers. I don't want these offers. What is the best way to decline these messages? I certainly do not want to ruin my 100% rating.
Suggestions?

·2 years agoIf you mean you are actually getting "Best Offers" through the listings, eBay will sometimes add it to your listing no matter how many hoops you jumped through to keep it off. That is not an accident or a glitch, they think they know better than you how to sell your item and force it onto sellers who don't want it. You are free to reject or ignore the offers. As long as you don't accept it (or make a counteroffer that is accepted) it cannot affect your Feedback Score or Feedback Percentage or result in a defect since there is not "transaction" to rate or score. (Unless you get a real piece of work buyer who then BINs it and leaves negative feedback or worse).
If you mean you got a "Message from a member" proposing a deal, the same applies. No transaction, no rating.
