Options for receiving my payout

Question

I sold an item, for now the payout is still on hold, my question is to receive the payout when available my bank account must be updated and my social security number is required, which I have a issue providing it. Is there any other option to receive my payment like eBay credit or to my credit card which is already on file.

There isn't another option to receive your payment.

You need to provide a bank checking account and your SSN.

Buyers pay by eBay "Managed Payments".

eBay processes all the payments; they accept credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.

The buyer pays eBay by various methods, and eBay sends the money to you by a deposit to your Bank Checking Account.

You only need to register for eBay Managed Payments and eBay does the rest.
