Opting Out of eBay Authenticity Guarantee

Every few months I purchase a pair of new running shoes, often on eBay. I typically run in generic Nike shoes that cost between $80-110. Every time I purchase a new pair of running shoes, I have to wait an extra few days to receive them due to eBay's Authenticity Guarantee program on their shoes. I think this program is fantastic for collectible shoes where fake/reproduction sneakers are a real issue, but I wish I wasn't subject to these delays when I am purchasing run-of-the-mill running sneakers. Is there a way that a buyer can opt out of the Authenticity Guarantee program for individual purchases?
