Opt out of international shipping.
For some reason when I added a listing today, it's somehow opted me in on international shipping. And I can't figure out how to opt out of international shipping.

·2 years agoAre you sure you want to opt out? eBay's International Shipping (EIS) program is a great way to increase sales by doubling your market. With EIS, you ship to eBay's export hub in Illinois. Once the item safely arrives there, your obligation is complete. EIS will collect the overseas shipping and export duties from the buyer and will handle any import requirements for the destination country. If the item is damaged during international shipping, or if the buyer wants to return the item, EIS will buy the item back from the buyer and liquidate in the buyer's local market (you are no longer in the picture and your income is safe).
If EIS receives the item from you and finds it is ineligible for export, they'll liquidate locally, and your side of the sale will be unaffected.
Exporting can't get any better than that. Believe me, I've been exporting for over 40 years in my corporate business, and have decided to push my smaller corporate sales through eBay for their ease of exporting with this new program.
