Open Case on a Purchase
Summary: desertmoontreasures is experiencing issues with a long-standing case on eBay involving a returned item. The item was delivered on March 31st, but the buyer never sent it back by the deadline, yet a case was opened against the seller. eastlaneave suggested using eBay's customer service tools to request a resolution by having eBay step in and explained how to get a callback from eBay to address the issue.
In the last week of March there was an item purchased from my store. The item was running behind due to bad weather, so they opened a item not delivered. That was on March 29th of this year. The item was delivered on the 31st. eBay closed it since it got delivered. On 1 of April, they opened a return stating they had found another with a better price. So, they had enough days to send it to back to me. They did the label but was never sent out. When the due date came there was a case opened against me. Not sure why if they never sent the item back. Till this day eBay has not contacted me about it. It's still pending after 4 months. How do I fix this? Or who do I talk to cause supposedly they are still investigating it.

If the item wasn't returned by the deadline in the return case, you can 'Ask eBay to step in' to close the case.
