online help is terrible No phone number to talk with anyone
Purchased gift card, cant get a balance, my friend can't use. No help from Ebay anywhere, no way to contact anyone, very poor help

Customer Service is open 5:00am to 9:30pm Pacific time.
Has it been at least 4 hours since the gift card was purchased? If so, then you need to take the card and receipt back to the retailer. The clerk may not have activated the card correctly.
