Ongoing Shipping Validation Bug — How to Escalate to eBay
Hi everyone — I’m hoping to see if other sellers are experiencing a recurring shipping validation issue at checkout. Multiple times per week, buyers either cannot confirm shipping charges before purchase or are told after checkout that I don’t ship to their location, even though my shipping policies are correct and Support has already confirmed this with me. The only workaround so far has been issuing manual invoices, which is creating buyer confusion, operational disruption, and real financial impact from inaccurate shipping estimates.
Has anyone else run into this problem recently, and if so, were you able to get it properly escalated to Engineering? Also, can someone point me to the correct eBay Support email address or escalation channel for technical defects like this? I’d really appreciate any guidance — thank you.

I can see in your sold items a number of items that show 'shipping not specified'. This usually means there is an error in either the weight or dimensions. Sometimes it seems one or the other is just missing.
Try looking through your active items in search to see if you see an item with this statement instead of seeing a calculated amount. If you find one, edit it to see what is odd in the shipping specs.

If you can't find an active one, use relist on the $11 item you just sold and look at what it is picking up on the shipping weight and dimensions. You should find the problem this way. Be careful to not actually relist the item, and then be sure to delete the draft it creates.
