One listing for multiple items, shipped to authenticator
I wanted to sell off all the items in my store (trading cards about 130 items), so I created one listing for all items. Before I listed this I already had each individual item listed on my store. The total cost is well over the $250 authentication threshold. I unfortunately wasn't thinking about this and did have a buyer that purchased my listing for all the cards.
I say unfortunately because I believe it will cause a problem with the authenticator only being able to authenticate one item, and then rejecting it and saying the listing isn't as described. I of course tried contacting eBay but I can't get a straight answer from them if the authentication is likely to fail.
I contacted the buyer and he just wants me to push it through, despite me telling him I think it will cause issues and cause a delay. Anyone that can confirm this will cause an issue with authentication? Surely people make listings all the time with multiple items on it? Should I just insist on cancelling and making several listings so it is less "problematic"? Or am I just being paranoid here?
