One chance to guess the right answer on return reason or money back guarantee is void.
Do I really only get one chance to guess the right reason to select when filling out the return request? The description of the item says if fits a 4" base plate. However, it did not fit a 4" base plate. When I filled out the return request I clicked on "didn't fit." Well then, apparently I am an idiot, because I should have selected something like "not as described" or whatever the secret correct answer was. Because now Ebay customer support is saying I can't return it because I selected the wrong answer and it can't be appealed. Really? I felt like Sir Robin of Camelot talking to the keeper of the Bridge of Death and and my 3rd question was "What is your reason for returning the item?" Answer: "it didn't fit. Ahhhhhh!!!" Now I'm at the bottom of the Gorge of Eternal Parel, with no recourse in site.

However, although you can not longer get help from eBay you can go back to your funding source and ask for a charge back. Buyers win almost all charge backs since it is your funding source that makes the decision and not eBay or the seller.
