One buyer purchased shoes and another Buyer saying there's fraud!
Summary: chisimarie described a situation where they had listed shoes on eBay and received an offer from an interested buyer who couldn’t pay immediately. Meanwhile, another buyer purchased the shoes at full price. The initial interested buyer later claimed fraud, stating they had been charged $25 and requested transaction details, which chisimarie partially provided. chisimarie expressed difficulty in contacting support for assistance and emphasized there's nothing more they could do. disneyshopper advised against sharing any buyer information since no transaction occurred with the interested buyer.
One interested buyer wanted shoes I recently listed. Ebay messages... they asked if I would accept an offer of $25, however, they would not have the money until Wednesday (4 days later) .. (i did not have the Make an offer option available on my listing).
I said sure... I will change that Offer Settings when it gets closer. There were a few watching the item. (Of course our listings are a First come first serve basis... no holds)
Another Buyer had purchased the shoes full price on Tuesday. I had messaged the other interested buyer who wanted to offer $25... that unfortunately... those shoes had sold already.
They had messaged back with an OK... thnak you!!
Then the Interested Buyer with the offer had messaged a few days later... said they hadn't received their shoes.
?? They sold to someone else who had purchased them the day before.
The Interested Buyer with Offer had asked for the transaction information... name of buyer.... addresss where it shipped to etc. And was going to double check her bank statement for she had spent $25 on those shoes (which she had not... on my listing)...
She had said she was going to file for fraud... shes made different accounts over the past 3 year because someone has been getting into her accounts and making purchases of her unknowing.
I only gave her a first name and state where item was shipped.... i would not give her anything else and I hope that wasn't against rules but just in case she had forgotten to change information on her current account is what I was thinking (if that were the case... she would have known right from those 2 pieces of information... she did not) I will not give an address... full name or transaction of someone elses purchase.
I cannot seem to weave my way through automated help to speak to a real person. This is not something a computer should handle. I need a real person for this.
There really is nothing I can do.
Everything seemed just fine on my end for sale.
I hope to hear from someone soon! Thank you!

Mentor1 week agoI would not have given any information on the actual buyer to the buyer with the Offer. You have no sold transaction from that Offerer, so you owe her nothing.

OP1 week agoYes... exactly what I was thinking.
To be more proper.. I should have instead, asked her if she has had any other accounts under different name and address maybe? It does happen where addresses can change but buyers forget to update... and buyer names could be different than their actual real names ... ( I definitely wasn't going to give any other info.ĺ There's nothing that I can do for the offering buyer. If this is an actual true buyer... she'd have to contact ebay herself and figure out what happened with her transaction. 🤷🏻♀️
I had seen another post put on here about 4 days ago... similar to this after I had put mine on here.... lady wanted shoes... and direct ebay msgd seller if they would take certain offer but would not have money for three weeks.... then shoes sold next day. Don't know if this is the same buyer or just something common?
