Old Railroad keys being removed after an appeal was won
We have a brass 100+ year old key to sell. Listed and it was pulled. We appealed and won. Relisted and it was pulled again. Common sense says that if one wins an appeal the relisted item should remain active. What am I missing on this? 5/7/2026

Railroad keys are prohibited under this policy

They fall under transit or shipping company property which is not allowed as it could be used for mischief.
I'm sorry that it happened that the appeal worked only to have it taken down again, however an appeal on eBay frequently leads to another take down.
The same bot that found the listing in the first place will find it again, and your account will be under a microscope.
I don't relist something that was taken down, even if the take down was in error. There is too big of a risk of a 2nd takedown.
I'm sorry that happened.
