Ohio HB321
Ohio has just passed a bill that will directly affect ebay sellers.
It requires all sellers using the auction format to obtain an "auction firm" license through the department of agriculture, carry a $50,000 surety bond, have a trust account and a completed police background check, all prior to taking a test in Reynoldsburg Ohio.
The law is being implemented on 9/13/2022
The first offense for selling on Ebay without the license is a misdemeanor charge & fine, the second offense will be a felony charge & fine.
Is Ebay looking into this???
