Offsite Ads - no control
Summary: always.deals expressed frustration over the lack of control in eBay's Offsite advertising campaigns, where they cannot select which items to include, leading to inefficient spending on items that already receive organic traffic. always.deals noted that this change has negatively affected their campaigns' ROAS and ACOS, compelling them to pause campaigns. comics-scifi-collectibles attempted to assist by suggesting campaign management tools within the Seller Hub, but always.deals clarified that these options were not available for Offsite campaigns and sought further explanation from eBay.
Is there really no way to control at the very least which items to include or exclude from an Offsite campaign? It was performing great before but suddenly it changed to All Eligible listings and the algorithm thinks its a great idea to spend over 80% of my budget on Defective listings that we have for a high traffic item that already gets good traffic organically. This change has killed my Offsite campaigns and has led to having to pause them since the ROAS and ACOS dipped significantly.

OP2 months agoHello,
Thanks for reaching out. For all other campaign types yes, I can edit it however for Offsite specifically I cannot, have had several calls and chats with different reps and people internally in eBay and have not been able to get a clear answer as to why this change to Off-site was made. At the very least we should be able to opt out of having listings in Defective/As Is/Parts conditions left out as this is what's killing this campaigns ROAS and ACOS. Its forcing my entire catalog on this campaign and I dont want it to be an evergreen campaign we have various items that get great traffic organically and makes no sense to push ad spend on - All qualified listings will be eligible for promotion upon updating your campaign.
