·2 years agoIf you are required to enter a payment method before bidding or making an offer it only takes the payment if the offer is accepted or if you win the auction.

Mentor2 years agoSellers control whether a valid payment method is required for bids or offers on those sellers' items.
eBay controls whether each buyer account is subject to those requirements.
Buyers have no direct control over that requirement when making bids or offers for those sellers' items.
