Question

How can I review offers I received for an auction that just ended? The auction ended without any bids but I refused the offers I got. Somehow one of the bids was accepted but not by me.(This is my first time selling in about 15 yrs.) I don't want to renege and risk negative feedback but the offer was about a third of one I refused before. If you mean the "Cinema Collection : The Satanic Screen : An Illustrated History to the Devil in" that had 3 bids by 2 bidders and sold for $11.50 at auction, not by Best Offer.

If you mean some other listing what is the item number, as it apparently hasn't made the journey from your Active Listings to your Completed or Sold Listings.

You cannot accept an offer after the auction (and therefore listing) ends, even without a bid. Best Offer ends and all pending offers and counteroffers expire upon the listing ending, or when the auction gets a bid.

I agree that adding Best offers to Auctions is not conducive to the price going up. I never use Best offer on anything, it drives prices down. I do get messages on BIN items that have the "Reply with offer" button and I have used that a few times on things I simply want to get rid of.

You can turn the Best Offer OFF on Auctions when you either create them from scratch or Relist them.

Make sure you check over the entire listing tool page before making your item go active ... eBay has some default settings that may not meet with how you want to sell something, that's what I have learned.

There is a pull-down menu at the top of the page for different situations on listings but I do not believe that if you declined offers you would have record of them.

Just Relist the item starting it at the lowest you will accept on one bid and have the Best offer turned off. If you get more than one bid great, if not it will sell for what you are willing to sell it for.
