Offered free shipping for a heavy item but forgot to block shipment to AK, PR, and HI

Question

Looks like shipping is going to cost as much as the item

I know I screwed up, just wasn't thinking about it as I have not sold an item to any of those states in a very long time.

I've shipped stuff before where I messed up on shipping and had to pay more than expected but never was it this much.

Is there anything I can do or do I have to toss it up to a learned lesson and ship the item?

Ship the item. I messed up too, and ended up selling an item to Alaska. Made 0 dollars. Might have even lost money, but the item had a Best if Used by Date, so I was ok with it.
