Offer but shows original Price.

Question

I am buying an item and got notified the seller accept the offer. But when I click on the item, it shows the full price. Is this a glitch?

The actual price is visible in your Purchase History. eBay hides the actual price in public pages, substituting the Buy It Now price for fixed-price listings or the Starting Price for auction format listings.

ETA: Also on the listing in the green bar up near the top (between a couple of ads) which shows the status of the listing: Congrats woodland_gnome! [Seller ID] accepted your offer of US $20.00. | View order details

To accept the offer, you must use the offer link to get the offer price.

If you do not see the offer message with a link you can use to view the offer, check the item listing to see if the offer link appears in a blue banner at the top of the page when using a desktop browser.

At one time ebay revealed the Best Offer price accepted. Many sellers didn't like that, feeling it might inhabit higher offers, so ebay stopped doing it, and now we see a slash through the original price.
