Question

I asked a question about an item, the seller answered my question, the next morning I received an offer on the item, I accepted the offer, and tried to pay for the item, now it says item sold, how can that be?

Sellers do not normally send an offer to a specific user. They will send offers to those users who meet specific eBay criteria. So may users are receiving the offer and the first user to pay gets the item. Your questions may have caused the seller to send out offers to qualified users.

Until it is paid for it is available for anyone to purchase.
