I had a potential buyer send me a really rude question commenting on my asking price and then told me to "blow him." I cannot find a way to report him to eBay. How can I do this?

Mentor3 years agoContact Ebay and absolutely report them. You do not have to tolerate that nor should you. And if they are doing this to you, they will do it to others.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service.

If when you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant, type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options.

OP3 years agoThanks. I did report him and yet his store is still open and he's doing business. I'm so disappointed in eBay.

Mentor3 years agoebay is not going to shut down this seller on just one report. However, ebay may do something if there are several reports, but ebay will not tell you what they will do, if any thing.

Mentor3 years agoThat is a bit unfair. If one report could cause a member to get booted off Ebay, that would be crazy not to mention extremely harsh. What if the person that reported someone made things up or exaggerated what happened. There are countless reason why one report will not cause a member to get booted.
Ebay has a procedure. A warning would likely happen as the first thing. To think they should be booted over this is not a realistic expectation, so you will be disappointed.
