Odd situation from a buyer

I've never had anything like this happen to me while selling on EBay. I ahve np working with buyers but this is weird and suspicious in my opnion.
Clearly I cant ship an incorrect item that the buyer selected. In addition, I'm seeing that the item hasn't been delivered yet. Its supposed to be today. I need guidance, please!

This is VERY odd... how can they receive the wrong item if they entered the wrong address?
My advice is to just tell the buyer ONE time to file a refund request case if they are not happy and then ignore them until they do. Your other replies were good though.

OPOct 4, 2026 at 4:40 PMI appreciate your response! I truly didnt think of posting sensitive material as I've never posted in the community, so I apologize for doing so. They have been selling on EBay so for them to have 'entered the wrong address' is something they should have realized or at least paid attention to. But to blame the seller for sending the wrong item is absurd.

If the buyer abuses the eBay MBG in some way then you can report them but it doesn't get your money back:

OP2 days agoThere is no way the wrong item was recvd cuz for #1- It wasnt delivered yet at the time this msg was sent, #2, I cant/wont ship an item that wasnt purchased for.
