Obtaining a refund on a defective purchase from a bogus company giving me the ebay runaround
I would like to speak to an ebay customer support person by phone. The seller of the defective and dangerous heating pad purchased in May (which died in 2 months of hardly any use) knows how to give the buyer the run around on ebay. Today when I saw the 'seller has responded' notice, all it was, was the tracking number of the item I want to return for a refund. It was not a response. This seller knows how to use ebay to tire the buyer out!
The seller seems bogus as the name they go by on ebay is not their actual company name, and when you try to contact them you go nowhere. The item was not as advertised. The seller has not assumed all responsibility for their listing and I've tried the ebay robot without success. I need to speak to a person re this return. Can anyone help? tawsmead

The 2 month time frame may have pushed you beyond eBay's MBG 30 day time period from delivery: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy
You can certainly try getting in touch with eBay and the contact options are here for you:
-You can request a call back from eBay during west coast business hours here: eBay Customer Service
-Contacting eBay via Social Media:
Contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

Now, having share all of that, in the end you may have to pursue a dispute with your funding source (PayPal, credit card, etc) for a refund.
