OBi Telephony Adapters
On December 18, 2023 Poly's OBi 200/202/212 telephony adapters for Google Voice reached its End of Life, meaning the devices are bricked i.e. no longer operational if the device was not provisioned to the Google Voice user's OBiTalk and Google Voice network accounts prior to the End of Life date.
I'm still seeing some eBay sellers with listings selling those OBi telephony adapters as cheap as $15 to upwards of almost $200, some sellers will accept returns of the devices while other basically have a no return policy which means if an eBay buyer has not done their due dilligence on the status of the device support then basically as I am to understand they are SoL and basically lost their money. Also the sellers make no effort to inform potentional buyers of the OBi device End of Life.

I can't find any way to contact eBay to try and have these multiple listings removed. I am NOT trying to get any of these sellers in trouble or banned from eBay, I simply want them to stop selling a product that no longer works and offer their buyer a full refund because these devices basically no longer works anymore.

OP2 years ago@disneyshopper Thank you for your reply the problem is there are pages of these devices being sold on eBay and I probably couldn't get to everyone of them and second if I go on a reporting spree eBay may think that I am spamming reports and kick me off, I don't want to take that chance.

Mentor2 years agoWell, I wouldn't go on a "spree" reporting these listings. Just pick the listings that have made the most sales.
