NPB messages from Ebay
anyone know what ebay says to NPBs once you cancel their order?
I put a German guy on there today. I think Ebay said he can't message me unless about a listing and I am relisting what he "bought". I do not want to deal with him again ( guy puling about shipping cost like I can do anything about it). Many messages and efforts on my part to help.

So how long ago was their other transaction with you?

OPOct 4, 2026 at 6:47 PMSorry I was not clear. I put him on my BBL. I don't want to hear from him again at all nor get bids from him. Like as been said here before some customers raise red flags and end up not paying.
My question is what does ebay message NPB's? Are they told they have a strike against them?

MentorOct 4, 2026 at 6:52 PMWhile IDK exactly what the current messages a buyer gets when a cancellation for non payment happens, they are informed that the cancellation happened and why it happened plus that it is recorded on their account for non payment.
IDK why whether they are told are not is an issue for you. Just make sure you have your Buyer Requirements in your Site Preferences set to the strictest you can, which is 2 in 12 months and your account will be protected from most serial offenders.

Mentor2 days agoDo you mean the BBL [block buyer list]? You can only prevent them from contacting you if you check the box not to allow members on your BBL to contact you. That will apply to ALL of them unless there is a current transaction with them.
Consider using EIS and then it will likely prevent this issue from happening again.
