Now Forced to Pay for Every Item AND Shipping Fees Separately and Immediately
This new policy of charging the buyer for an item plus advertised shipping fee immediately after a listing is won is SHEER MADNESS !! A lot of times I will win a separate auctions from the same seller several times within a 2-week period and have them send me an invoice, with one combined shipping fee, when I’m done buying. Now I get billed instantly for every listing I win and eBay is going to pester the seller to ship each item immediately or risk downgraded seller ratings. This is freaking MADNESS! I’m not going to pay a separate shipping fee for every item I win when they can be simply combined and I can get one combined shipping fee. Now, I have to message each seller from whom I buy an item to tell them not to actually ship until I advise I’m not bidding on more of their items. Or, once I’m done buying, I have to work with the seller to refund the excess shipping fees this new policy forces me to pay upfront and sooner or later I’m going to have to deal with a seller that won’t refund because they’ve already been paid, item by item. This is the sort of stupidity that makes we want to quit buying on eBay. Why does eBay have to go out of their way to make something that is so simple to be so hard ????? I've placed 1,400 orders from eBay sellers over the last six years and I'm stopping until this is resolved.
