Nothing in the envelope
Summary: jayc reported receiving an empty package from a recent purchase spree on eBay and requested advice on identifying the missing item without an item number. mr_lincoln suggested checking the return address's city and state against other purchases to identify the missing item, a suggestion that jayc found intense but possibly necessary.
I've been on eBay since 1997 and I'm sure there used to be a phone number to call but I guess they are hiding it. Today's problem. I've been on a buying spree and received 22 purchases today. I opened one and I'm pretty sure nothing was in it. All I have is the sellers name and address. They didn't include any item number or anything, I want to find out what sports card it was supposed to be so I can double check that it wasn't a misplaced item on my end. Any help is greatly appreaciated.

Unfortunately, you will have to organize your purchases and match what you have with what you purchased to see which one might be missing.
You "could" check the return address City & State and then look through your Purchased items, open the listings and see what their Ship FROM City & State are.

When I read your post I had to chuckle a little bit ... I pictured someone at a desk or table with a bunch of envelopes all over the place. We have four grand-daughters and when they are putting puzzles together the table ... is ... a .... mess! LOL!
