Not sure where to post. I have a great suggestion for Ebay. Regarding gift cards.
Some places, like Subway, you get a gift card, and put it online with them. I recieved about
3 cards, and Subways allowed me to consolidate them all. It is very user friendly. Now my issue with
Ebay, I have $250 in Ebay Gift Cards. Ebay does not allow me to put the gift cards online with them like I can ny debit card and my Master card.... I am up at my cabin and want to buy something on ebay, alas, I dont
carry all my gift cards where ever I go. I dont carry a purse. So, I buy from Amazon. Later, I am at my Lady friends condo, I spend 3 days a week there. I wanted to buy something on Ebay...Alas, I do not have my gift card so I bought from WalMart and had it mailed. I guess Ebay wants to make it difficult to use their gift cards.
I was a power seller, you can look at my account and will find tens of thousands I have spent on Ebay. It would be a huge improvement. Until this changes, I will be buying other gift cards with my credit card points. I have seen my suggestions change things in stores before....how about changing this policy. Gracias. Steve Danville

To your point, many stores offer points programs and you might get a gift card or something in the mail, etc. I would prefer they just keep track of my points earnings like credit card companies do for their cash back or like Staples does with the phone app, they have MY points total right in front of them and any discounts that would apply. Your suggestion is extremely reasonable and I think most progressive companies make it easy for their repeat customers to take advantage of their points.
There are several convenience store chains in our state that even have a card you use at the gas pump and counter and after you buy enough stuff you will get discounts off gasoline ... they keep track of it across their entire store network.

OP11 months agoUPDATE..... EBAY allowed me to download my 3 gift cards....not only that, they combined them.
I purchased several things with my $250.00 I had in gift cards. Now my problem is, I spent 2 hours trying to find my balance yet to spend on my Ebay Gift Cards.
