Not sure how to email directly with ebay
My problem started with ebay saying I was dead. After going through there system, they said they would reopen the account. It's been about a month, and it still says I'm dead. Does anyone know what I need to do. Trying to email without going through the circle to get back to where I've been, I would be able to send the email where they were going to restart my store, and a pic of the I'm still Deceased?

This account has been marked as the account of a deceased member and will be closed soon. Therefore you cannot buy or list products with this account.
and what I received in a email from ebay on 4/28 this
We're writing to let you know we've interrupted the process to close your account. All related account information will now be visible by other eBay-registered users, and you should have full access to all areas on our site that require you to sign in.
but it still shows I'm deceased when I try anything

Mentor4 months ago@aui-parts Yes, we understand the problem. As I stated I went above and beyond and reached out to eBay community staff who looked at your account since this was such an unusual situation.
You need to find out who the collection agency is that has reported you as deceased. When a collection agency does this it should show on one of your credit reports. You can access all three credit reports online, at least I can, maybe you can't if they think you are deceased.
Until the collection agency tells eBay that you are alive there is nothing more that they can do.

Mentor4 months ago@aui-parts I found out from community staff that it appears that your account is in the process of being closed out due to a collection agency reporting that you are deceased. Until you get this fixed with the collection agency eBay can't help you.
The first thing I would do is report possible identity theft> https://www.identitytheft.gov/
AND check your credit reports for collection agency information.... Experian, Equifax, Transunion

OP4 months agoJust got Equifax, and I'm alive. Good news. Other 2 harder to get, and they are mailing them to me. I don't know how anyone can do that with out a death certificate. Thanks for the help.

I think you misunderstood what you need to do.
Yes, you do want to check your credit reports. But what you have to do when checking them is to figure out which of your creditors sent your account(s) to collections and speak to the collection agencies.

Thanks for the reply, I know I can't purchase, try to sell anything. I would like to just email directly to them. I've had several phone calls getting forward to someone else, and through it was fixed. No more email through there system, or phone calls. Please let me know what to do?

Mentor4 months ago@aui-parts. I'm sorry but eBay doesn't have an email address for contact. The Instagram contact method is the best option. It is also staffed by US agents.
