not reimbursed for return
I have had nothing but a headache with CarpetEmpire. I ordered a rug for over $400.00 because of the colors and found that the advertising photo had been enhanced so "gold" was actually tan. They accepted my return but I had to pay postage because I chose "buyers remorse" instead of "Not as described." That mistake cost me $163.00. I returned the item on November 6th and had been communicating with the seller who seemed to be dragging this out. I was RIGHT because today I got a message that the return window on my item was CLOSED and I cannot change this decision. I have the receipt for the return, I have copies of all of our communication, but I am at fault here according to eBay. And I have found it impossible to actually speak to a human being at bay. So now I'm out over $500.00!!!!!

On a return when you provide tracking and a delivery to the Seller is confirmed you only have to wait 2 days and on day 3 if the Seller has not refunded you go back to the claim and ask eBay to step in. You are right, the Seller knew this and strung you out long enough that now you will have to pursue a refund via PayPal or credit card company depending on how you purchased.
You also have 60 days to leave Feedback for the Seller ... just so you know.
