Not received item because it was broken before the shipment

Question

Ordered a bottle of cologne on December 17 contacted the seller one month later, the seller told me that his brother broke the bottle and told me that he did not have the money to refund me. I canâ€™t find how to contact eBay to an actual live person instead of the AI stuff to let them know.

Go to your Purchase History and click on Order Details next to the item title to see if the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed.

IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:

Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history

Select â€œMore actionsâ€ beside your item and then â€œI didn't receive it.â€
Click the box beside I want a refund.
Select Send request.

If the seller does not respond to the refund request, after 3 business days you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.

Find the item in your Purchase History
Select See request details
Select â€œAsk eBay to step in.â€
