Hello, I need assistance completing verification so I can receive a payout from an item I recently sold.
I am a non-U.S. person. I was temporarily in the United States when I sold my personal 360-degree camera on eBay. The buyer has already paid and the funds are currently being held pending verification.
The verification page is asking me for an SSN or ITIN. I do not have an SSN or ITIN and I do not want to provide incorrect information.
My account is scheduled for restrictions by the 14th September, 2026 if I am unable to complete my verification requirements. What should I do

Mentor1 month ago · EditedIf you cannot provide information for verification, Ebay will withhold your funds from the sale. Eventually they will remit the funds to your states* treasurer where you can file a claim for your funds.
*The state where you were registered at the time of the sale.
