Summary: bobbieanne shared an experience of discovering an unnotified sale on eBay, missing its notification and only being aware of it when contacted by the buyer. They promptly apologized, expedited the shipping, and refunded the original shipping charges. They asked if others have experienced similar issues.
Imagine my surprise yesterday morning when I opened my emails to find someone asking me how soon an item would be shipped out? I clicked on the item he was asking about and found out that they purchased it on Sunday and it should have been mailed on Monday. I am constantly checking my emals for sales made and did not see one for this item. I looked thru my messages from Ebay on my seller page - there is nothing about the sale. Of course, I apologized to the customer, sent it out expedited, and returned their original shipping charges. Anyone else ever had this happen?

Mentor2 weeks agoThis glitch happens at random to some sellers. Sometimes it lasts a day other times a month or you get the messages very late. Best to always check on ebay at least once a day to avoid it. A pain, but ebay has never seemed to have completely fixed it many years.
