how often do sellers send group orders,and forget to place something within. Then when you question it, they come back with multiple excuses, then get zero satisfaction

It’s really more important to know what to DO when that happens … as opposed to how many sellers do it.
File a Return Request from your Purchase History for the missing item … choosing ‘Doesn’t match description or photos’ as the reason for the request.
If the seller doesn’t provide a refund for the missing item [or a prepaid shipping label to send everything back] … then go back to your open request on the 4th business day and ask eBay to step in. eBay will do the rest.
NOTE: DO NOT file an ‘Item not received’ claim.

Mentor2 years agoI've done it twice. The last time the buyer purchased 2 identical items. I did not notice that and only sent 1 item. Cost me an extra shipping charge. Now ebay shows multiple item purchases in RED, so I was glad for that.
If you know you sent everything the buyer paid for, you can suggest s/he file a Returns Request and send everything back, and you will give a full refund when the items are returned. If you find the missing items,. then apologize, and ship them out.
