I was hoping some one could tell me how to get in touch with ebay by phone other than thru help & contact!
I have tried having them contact me 5 times today! Each time they said I would hear from someone within 1 to 2 minutes. I never got a call from anyone. I even tried to chat with a rep on the chat window. I was given what she told me was a special link to use and some one would definitely call me. Well, I still didn't get a call from anyone. ALL DAY! I looked at my phone for missed calls and messages and none! I looked at my email, and there were emails from ebay saying that they had tried to call but weren't able to reach me at the phone number on file. The chat rep. that I talked to earlier checked to make sure they had the correct number, which they did, so they are using the right number. They said it didn't go thru either because the call was not answered, which I was waiting and my phone didn't ring and a call did not post in my call log. Another reason was the call went to voicemail, which it didn't, or the call reached a busy signal, which I did not talk to anyone this moring at all, during the time this ordeal was going on. Last but not least, they said the number was wrong or disconnected, which neither are correct. Then they told me to go the Help & Contact and to click on Contact Us button, which is what I did 5 times!!! Great advice ebay!! I have a big issue with combined shipping, and have had this problem for several years, but ebay still has not fixed the problem, even after I have called and given them many situations that are costing me a lot of money, because they are not figuring it correctly. I shipped a box this money that ebay quoted to the buyer to pay $25.80 in shipping but when I combine the multiple items into a bigger, USPS charged me $73.05 to ship. A $50 difference, for ebay's mistake!! I can't afford to sell if I have to keep losing money on shipping! I don't see where ebay gives out their phone number anymore, so I can't call them. They used to give you a choice Call Them ot Have them call me! I quess they don't take calls anymore either. I apologize that this is so long. This is the first time I have ever had the need to ask for help from the community. I just don't know what to do!! Any suggestions or if someone knows a direct phone number to anyone at ebay, i would be extremely thankful!

Mentor3 years agoAre you using a VOIP phone number? That can cause problems, apparently.
Other things that can cause issues: spam blockers, or if your phone provider has blocked eBay's number as spam for some reason. Or if your number is not in North America.

OP3 years agoThank you for your help. I don't know about spam blocker on my phone or ebay blocker by my phone carrier, but I was already planning on going to the AT&T store tomorrow to see if they could help figure out why I am not getting calls from ebay. I didn't know about ebay on FB or instagram! I done have an instagram account but i will try FB. Thank you again! Wish me luck!! Richard
