Nonprofit Charity Account Pending Verification for Over Two Weeks - No Help from Security & Trust
We recently set up a nonprofit charity account with Ebay. It has been "pending verification" for over two weeks. I've spoken with a number of customer service reps in trust & security, who have been polite and attempted to be helpful, but the issue has not been resolved. We can purchase items, but cannot list anything.
After two weeks of going back and forth, we were informed that the problem was with PayPal's charity profile. We contacted PayPal and were informed that everything was in order. Our PayPal charity information has populated the Ebay nonprofit charity information screen and everything looks OK. But, we still can't list items. We get the message that our account is still pending verification. It looks like we've called customer service so many times that we no longer have the icon to have them contact us -- we only have the option to "chat with the automated assistant," which is no help at all. Anyone have any suggestions? Should we just close the account and forget about trying to sell on Ebay? I've had my own personal account with Ebay since 1999, with no issues.
