Nonpayment from new or infrequent buyers

Question

Does anyone else have a problem with people making offers or bidding and then fail to pay? When I look up my buyers, they usually have a zero or a one behind their eBay name, telling me they are new or it's possibly a scam? Is there a way to report this?

When a buyer does not pay, you need to cancel the transaction after 4 days of non-payment have passed, specifying "buyer didn't pay". That will report it to Ebay, also.

In Seller Hub, go to Orders.
Find the order you want to cancel, and from More actions, select Cancel order.
Select "buyer didn't pay" as the reason for the cancellation and then select Submit to finish.

All unpaid items are recorded on a buyer's account. Buyers who have excessive unpaid items, or canceled transactions, may have limits imposed, or lose their buying privileges.

Place the non-paying buyer on your Blocked Buyer List:
