Non-taxable items
Why would eBay commerce (the payment handling arm of eBay) charge me tax on a clothing item (shoes) that I bought on ebay? Clothing items are non-taxable in Minnesota where I live and made the purchase online.

Were the shoes listed in the Clothing Category when you purchased them? That would be necessary for the bot to recognize it as a nontaxable article of clothing.
