non returnable item defective, contacting seller isn't working.

My engine builder received the non returnable exhaust manifold on Nov 5, 2025 and the item looked good. He tried to install the manifold this January when the engine was ready and the stud threads were bad and pulled out while tightening. I contacted the seller through my eBay invoice (with a copy to my email) and they said "sorry, would you like us to send you a different one?" I responded to this by "Yes, please" (with a copy to my email). No notice of my response showed up in my email. I have not heard again from the seller. I sent another response that also didn't show up in my email.
There doesn't seem to be any option in eBay help to contact eBay about a defective item in there pop down menu.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
