Non-responsive seller took my money and ran. Ebay says to keep waiting after 10 days of no response.

How can I get someone at Ebay to help get my money back? I've looked at all the automated "help" and cannot get to the place where I'm supposed to be able to initiate a request. This is beyone frustrating.

Go to your My eBay: Purchase History (sometimes labelled "Purchases") and click "More actions" on the entry for the item.

If you haven't received a package (and the estimated time you were given when you paid--check your "Order confirmation" email--has passed) select that you haven't received the item, then follow instructions from there. If you haven't gotten the item as described or a full refund after 3 days (but before 21 days) from doing so go back and you should find a link to "Ask eBay to step in" to get your refund.

Hi @chas40b

Would you be able to provide some more details on what happened? For a claim of not receiving an item to processing a return for an item not as described or arrived damaged you can do that all from the Purchase history and the item(s) in question. You don't even need to involve the Seller, the system can work for you without them being initially involved.

Thanks for your response. No, I cannot "do that ll from the Purchase history." I'm trying to follow the steps below as the seller is completely non-responsive and it has been 10 days since they took $200 from me. The problem is I do not see where I can select "See request details" or "Ask eBay to step in and help"

How to ask us to step in

Find the item in your Purchases.
Select See request details (if your item didn't arrive) or See return details (if you're trying to return an item).
Select Ask eBay to step in and help.
Select a reason from the dropdown menu, then select Confirm.

Go to your Purchase History and locate the purchased item. What is the last estimated delivery date? You have up to 30 days past that date in order to file an Item Not Received case, to get your money back.

If it is past the 30 day limit, you will need to log into Paypal and file an Item Not Received case there, if that is how you paid, as they allow up to 180 days from date of purchase to file, to get your money back.

If you paid with a credit card, file a charge back with your credit card issuer.

That is for what to do at least 3 days (but no more than 21 days) AFTER you have started the process. You have to start the process first.
