Non payment
Having experienced the third refusal to pay for an auction won in a month, I really would like to know what eBay does to these buyers. Sellers can’t leave negative feedback. I think they should be banned.

·1 year agoA seller can block anyone with 2 or more "unpaid cancellation records" in the past 12 months, or some more lenient data, or not at all. The sellers who are not paid are the ones who have to cancel for non-payment after 4 days (or up to 30 days). So for a buyer to be blocked the old sellers have to have done their part (file the cancellation, or set it up to do automatically in your "Preferences for items awaiting payment") and the new sellers have to do their part (by setting their "Buyer Requirements" to enable the block).
Non-payments can affect the buyer's eBay imposed buying limits, lowering them and/or counting against them. eBay will generally not kick off a buyer for a few non-payment (or a seller for a few "defects").

Mentor1 year agoIf you are cancelling after 4 days with the reason did not pay, you are issuing that buyer a strike. 2 of those in a year keep them from bidding/making offers for one full year. It does work, because we have seen questions regarding why they can't bid. Blocking those buyers helps you, but the strike helps all sellers.
