Non payment
I don’t understand why I have to wait four days for eBay to cancel my listing for nonpayment. I have 100% positive feedback I feel this is insulting. Is there anyway I can change this.

Ebay states that a seller must wait until 4 days have passed before canceling the transaction due to "buyer didn't pay". No, you can't change it.

OP2 years agoYes I did read that, it seemed in the past when the 4th day hit a seller was able to cancel the transaction themselves.
But now I don’t even have that option, it’s done on what Time E bay chooses.
Now that this will be my second one, ( non payment ) in a week believe the listing is held exactly until the time of auction ended four days ago.
I guess as a seller that leaves me feeling frustrated.

In the "olden days" Ebay used to allow the buyer 6 days to pay.
Sellers have to wait until the 4 days have passed entirely (96 hours) before they can cancel due to non-payment.

Mentor2 years agoAnd even further back in time … sellers had to wait 14 days before the transaction could be voided. [It was a 2-step process.]
