non paying bidder charge

I sold an item, buyer didn't pay on time and I cancelled. They got busy and just messed up. They contacted me and we arranged to relist and they are buying it after all. Can I have their charge for non payment forgiven. If so, how do I go about this.

I don't know if eBay will remove the strike from your buyer's account, but you can ask eBay if they will.
