Non-OTC hearing aid sale?
According to the Phonak brand, none of their hearing aids are OTC, in other words, all their models require a prescription and fitting (or adjustment) by professionals or individuals working under the supervision of such. Why then do I find over 1,100 examples on ebay of Phonak hearing aids? How are these instances possible? (At least in the state of Washington, generally, only retail sales of an OTC hearing aid are possible outside of the professional sector. Thoughts anyone?
