Non original Honda timing belt parts from seller yeah09
Hi all;
I bought full set of Honda pilot timing belt parts from seller yeah09. I ended up paying my mechanic almost $1000 instead of $400. Because all of the parts I bought were 3rd party cheap non original parts and The seller putting them inside the original Honda packages. I contacted the seller asked him the parts are not original and I want full refund. He did not answer about the authenticity of the parts and seller said whichever parts you return they will only refund for these parts. My mechanic already used few of them and he ordered the rest from Honda and I learned all these issue after I went to pick up my car. For me to be able to send all the pieces we have to open the hall engine again and give these cheap parts to the seller. Basically I ended up losing money and my mechanic said no guarantee. Anything can happen to the engine because of these third-party cheap parts. Plus when I contacted to eBay about the issue, they couldn’t do anything because the seller deleted the item which I cannot give any feedback. I only reported this issue and I ended up not being able to get refund. Please be careful try not to buy from eBay that type of parts because you will not get any of your rights if you end up buying 3rd party sellers which uses original packaging system. Please share your experiences if you have similar to my issue.

Mentor2 years agoOpen a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED, counterfeit. Seller will pay for the return, if he wants it back, and/or refund. If no response by the fourth day, go back and ask ebay to step in. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this, if not resolved.
If it is too late to do the above, open a dispute with the payment processor for counterfeit items to get a refund.
You also may want to contact Honda who can have these counterfeit listings removed from ebay.
