No way to leave negative public feedback for a purchase made more than 90 days ago
I just want to share my experience with a purchase and the unfortunate part of Ebay's public feedback system...that you cannot leave feedback on a seller for a purchase one made more than 90 days ago.
It took me a awhile to be able to determine that there was a problem with the JVC Stereo Amp I bought from seller bccollectibles69. In spite of it being listed in "working condition!" in fact the Left channel of the amplifier does not work at all, rendering the device useless. I realized it was a vintage amp and so the fact that it was advertised as in working condition was a critical element of my decision to buy this expensive listing.
I have multiple items on Ebay myself and in those couple of instances where a buyer reported that the item was not as described and/or didn't function I returned their money. It's the fair, responsible, and business-like way to be. Apparently bccollectibles69 is not.
I have sent several messages to the seller but he refuses to answer me and is, apparently, not going to make good on the purchase. I would leave this feedback on him if I were able to now. I'm very disappointed.

On eBay, feedback can only be left within sixty days of receiving an item or the last estimated delivery date, whichever comes first.
eBay's money back guarantee applies within thirty days of receiving an item. After that, eBay cannot help you.
You may still have some recourse through your payment provider for up to six months from the date of purchase. Check with your card issuer for details.
