Not even 24 hours after winning a late night auction and I receive an email requesting payment.
It is Sunday, the sabbath. A day of rest.
What shipping service moves packages on Sunday?

Mentor2 years agoOnce you win an auction, the response you receive from eBay (not the seller) is sent by a bot. Everyone gets that notification. It doesn't matter what day it is. Not everyone acknowledges "the Sabbath". Nice language coming from someone who claims they do.

Once you win an auction, the response you receive from eBay (not the seller) is sent by a bot. Everyone gets that notification. It doesn't matter what day it is.

The system is automated and you have up to 4 days to pay. If you do not pay in 4 days the transaction can be cancelled on day 5 and your account will received one Unpaid item strike. You may not have been aware of any of this as I suspect it was not explained in the email you received.
