No Tracking, No Funds Need Help
I shipped an item and it was scanned at the post office, however that was the last scan. I became concerned and contacted the buyer through ebay messaging. The buyer confirmed he recieved the item and is happy with it. However, since there is no delivery tracking ebay is withholding funds. How do I get help to get the funds released?

OP3 weeks agoI had is manually scanned at the post office counter. Ebay shows all packages being scanned and departing origination, however that is where all scanning stops. I contacted one buyer through ebay messages and was told they received the item and were happy with it. Not good enough for ebay, they won't release funds for 14 days. I will contact the other buyers today.

When you took the item to the P.O. did you manually upload the tracking number to the sold item listing? If you did not then ebay does not know that you shipped the item, and you will have to wait out the 30 days before the funds are released. If you have the tracking number you can upload the tracking number to the sold item, which will at least let ebay know the item was shipped.
Because you took a year or more off from selling on ebay, they consider you to be a new seller and a 30 day hold will be placed on your payments until you re-prove to be a reliable seller. The way to get the funds released sooner is to upload tracking to your sold items. If you purchase shipping labels from ebay the tracking number is automatically uploaded, and ebay knows you shipped.
