No seller response
I’m trying to return an item that didn’t match description. Seller sent a bogus address that is just about 150 random characters followed by a few numbers. I asked for a real address and they stopped responding. I’m trying to get eBay involved, but they wont give me that option in their AI help chat. How do I get eBay to step in with a seller who sent a false return address and is now no longer responding? Thanks!

If you started your "not as described" return within thirty days of receiving an item, the option to ask eBay to step in should appear after three business days if the seller has not provided a return label:
