No Sales tax on clothes in MN

I was charged sales tax on a clothing item to Mn MN has no sales tax on clothing seller says for me to contact ebay for adujustmrnt ? Wierd any suggestions ?

My guess? The clothing item was listed in a non-clothing category.

See, it's not so weird. It has happened to many many people who have posted questions here in these forums over many many years.

Could it have been, say, a Minnesota Vikings sweatshirt?
That might have been listed in a Sports Memorabilia category?

Those words -- "Sports Memorabilia" -- cover a lot of <stuff.> Programs from games, pennants, bobble head dolls, posters, post-cards -- lots and lots of different things.

The seller is mistaken on one other thing besides the category of his listing:

eBay does not do "adjustments" in these sales tax situations.
